According to manager Kevin Cash, Tampa Bay Rays infielder Wander Franco (wrist) will be placed on the injured list.

Per Cash, Franco is currently wearing a wrist brace after Tampa Bay's shortstop suffered a probable hamate injury on Saturday. Expect Taylor Walls and Isaac Paredes to see more playing time while Franco is out.

Per Baseball Savant on 204 batted balls this season, Franco has recorded a 4.4% barrel rate and a .349 expected weighted on-base average.
